What changes
Basketball presentation
Situations, wording, labels, and supporting visuals can use the selected interest when that context meaningfully fits the quantity or relationship.
Basketball context
In Another Angle, Basketball practice uses familiar court, scoring, practice, and player-data situations to make the starting point feel more recognizable. The Basketball context supports the problem; the Grade 7 skill stays the same.
Current coverage: 14 Grade 7 sections, with exact topics listed in the public curriculum index.

What changes
Situations, wording, labels, and supporting visuals can use the selected interest when that context meaningfully fits the quantity or relationship.
What does not change
Choosing Basketball or Baseball changes the situation, wording, and visual context around a problem. It does not change the underlying Grade 7 skill, the mathematical values that define the problem, the correct answer, or how the answer is graded.

During practice
Practice includes answer feedback and hints. Some current practice types also provide worked solutions after the student has had an opportunity to solve the problem.
After topic practice
Where a section quiz is available, it mixes skills from that section so students must decide which mathematics to use. Some current quizzes use neutral wording, while others keep the selected interest context.
For families
Students who already know and enjoy basketball may find these situations easier to enter. Another Angle does not promise that an interest guarantees engagement or a learning outcome.
